United We Stand Tutorial

Welcome to another addition of Pink's "sick of school now so let's design" post! Working toward an Associates in Nursing is tough work so it's a good thing Priscilla is still pumping out those kits, full size or tagger! LOL

Priscilla has recently published a full sized scrapbooking kit called "United We Stand" and, as anyone who follows my blog knows, I simply LOVE using full sized kits in tutorials. LOL

Dirty Mechanic Tutorial

Welcome to another edition of Pink Tadpole's tutorials! I'm Tina, the creator and founder of such lovely little pieces of work that you, too, can do all your own as well!

Today, I am bringing to you a little bit of grease and grime that I created when I stumbled upon an old designer's kit. Since the kit was a much older kit, I also used a much older tube by Keith Garvey and Mask 20 by Priscilla.

Two new tutorials

I know, right? You're probably wondering where I have been and why haven't there been any other tutorials for you to view!?!

Priscilla has decided to go to full sized, scrapbooking kits in May and so her requests for CT's has now changed. But that doesn't mean you won't get to see some lovely pieces of art work here. Just give us time while we work everything out and I'll be back up and running soon!

Yay! Spring starts in just 5 days! I'm so excited for it to get a little warmer and a lot more colorful outside. Plus, it'll officially be time for some "Spring Cleaning". I don't know about you, but my house could surely use a little TLC. I may even try to get some much needed decorating done after getting some awesome color ideas and tips from A Beautiful Mess.

Quality Control for PSP Freebie

I was browsing Pixel Scrapper and noticed someone who really needed help with Quality Control for Paint Shop Pro. I've been trying to find a FREE solution to this for quite some time but the only solution I can find is way more than I can afford so I just broke down and made my own. It's taken me a good portion of the day to figure out exactly how to do it but I think I've finally got it to where it does just enough to help. The only thing I can't seem to figure out is how to check gamut in PSP and it doesn't seem like it's even possible. So I'm sorry, but that's not in this set.

I did, however, include the following:

* Check for Jagged Edges and Holes
* Check for Blurriness
* Check and Correct Resolution
* Automatically locate and get rid of Stray Pixels and Trim elements within 2 px of all sides

So, while it's not the best solution, I hope it helps.

I'm trying to get back in the swing of things after being out for a few weeks for personal reasons and I just had to participate in this Pixel Scrapper challenge. It was so much fun and I was able to refresh  myself on shading so that's why I've included 2 templates in this download; a shaded one and one that's not shaded.

I sure hope you like this freebie and can find some use for it. :)
